Motor rewinding is the process of rewinding the coils and reinstalling the necessary armature or other components. As motors are subject to low insulation resistance due to pollution, vibration and surges during use, and by replacing the old winding wires with new wires with better insulation, rewinding restores the motor to optimum operating condition.
