Magneto Bearings | Small, Easy-to-Mount Bearings for High-Speed Applications
The inner ring groove of magneto bearings is slightly shallower than that of deep groove bearings and the outer ring bore diameter on the side without a shoulder is cylindrical from the bottom. The outer ring may be separated, allowing easier mounting.
In general, two of these bearings are used together in a paired mounting (sometimes called “duplex pairs”).
Magneto bearings are small bearings with a bore diameter of 4 to 20 mm. Pressed brass cages are standard, though machined synthetic resin cages can be used for high-speed rotation.
Features
- Unique design
Magneto bearings feature a shallower inner ring groove than deep groove ball bearings and a shoulder on only one side of the outer ring groove (counter-bored outer ring). - Easy-to-mount
A separable outer ring helps make mounting easier.
Applications
- Transport/conveyance equipment, gearboxes in agricultural machinery
